Only if it's recently moved from Europe to South America!😄 It has land borders with Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Monaco & Spain. There's also a rail tunnel under the English Channel linking France to the UK.

They're in completely different continents. Brazil is in South America. France is in Europe.

Yes. French Guiana - which is part of France (it's not a separate nation) - borders Brazil. That's where the Ariane (major French launch-into-orbit rocket system) launch facility is located. It's not only part of France...it's strategically one of the most important parts of France.

Professor Yaffle I stand corrected! As a Department of The French Republic it is part of France, not a colony or a dependency. I guess that also means there's a part of the European Union in South America. Thank-you for the info.

With French Guiana, if you want to call it France, which I actually do not. I consider it an overseas territory, rather like Guam for the US.

It's not a territory at all, though, it is a department, just like Paris. So it's more like how Hawaii is than how Guam is to the USA.
