I think the solution may be to send aid to help fix problems in their nations. For example sending aid to combat gangs IOW help the people over there instead of them coming over here. I know that the US is famous for being a nation of immigrants. However imho there is only so much space over here There are jobless people over here . So are only so much res sources for everyone presently here.

I don't envy border patrol right now. I wish Biden the best strength leading this country, but I have much trepidation that his honeymoon period in the White House is over already and he's just going to lose support from his own voter base and from congress, and then the USA will be left with another ineffectual leader.

He basically told them to come here when he stopped construction on the border wall. Didn't he say he had more tech- savvy ways of effective border patrol? I guarantee that if he set up drones to pick them off if they cross the border, they'd stop doing it! But... that's probably not what he had in mind. Actually there was probably NOTHING ELSE in his mind at the time! His comments were very vague!
