Have you ever heard of a sensitive plant? Not sure of the name but if you touch it it will pull away from you.. I have only seen one in my lifetime. Unforgettable. -

A venus flytrap will close if you touch it. -

3 different species at this time. I bought an aloe vera at Aldi a couple years back and it grew and had babies but they've been inside all winter and I'm surprised they survived. The other two Gen left here for me to care for but never brought the dirt they needed. I put them all out and bought some dirt for them finally. The mother-in-law's tongue looks like its coming back. I've had good luck with sweedish ivy in a hanging basket. My mother used to have a huge garden and I've grown vegetables and herbs in the past, but I'm in an apartment now and don't have much sun. What do you care for?

I stuck a bunch of seeds in dirt last spring. Mama aloe is making babies, the snake plant had to be thinned, I'm having to give a lot of them away because I'm moving. I got a pinch of ivy and rooted it. After it grew to ten leaves I cut three so I could start one in each of the 4 corners of my new apartment. Maybe one day they will meet in the middle of the ceiling! Haha. I knew that snake plants are air scrubbers, but only recently learned that aloe vera are too, besides being good for skin, hair and burns.
