After reading the description, My first post here was to find out how other people felt about a situation I had been through. After being here about a month I was able to help someone with a serious issue. That's when I realized I also had a calling and this is one aspect of it. I've been through a lot of crap in my life and God allowed this to happen so I could help others through it. So I'm open about what has happened to me so if there are others who are going through it they can message me. My email address is in my profile. Because if I can't help someone else through it then I went through it for nothing and I'm not going to allow that to happen! I will help others and do the work God has prepared me to do. I don't do it well. I'm not even a good Christian, but I can help others and let them know they can do it too! And they will be stronger for having gone through it. -

A N D I want to be heard and agreed with. Don't you agree? I also like learning here. If I don't know the answer I like to look it up and learn about it. Sometimes I can explain it to the asker in different words and help them understand and help them find the links about the things they are asking about. Because I have time at this point in my life which was unheard of back when I was a single parent in the Navy! Some people need help and I should be kinder to them. -

I'm not lonely. I usually have people dropping by and I like my quiet time, but I do have a lot of time on my hands so I have a lot of projects working. I receive counsel constantly and I'm thankful for it especially when it comes from informed and intelligent sources. But I've also learned from my special needs niece. She knows how to be happy almost all the time! Some really smart people haven't learned that! -

I also post because I used to only answer until I realized that if no one is asking questions there will be none to answer. I wish everyone on this site would post at least 6 questions a day! Wouldn't that be awesome? And some of the smartest people here don't ask questions. I asked my therapist why she thought that was and she said maybe they think they already know all the answers. It made sense. -

6 questions a day? There are only about 20 people who actually answer questions and carry on any type of conversation. -

Now I am curious to know why smart people don't ask questions. Is not it just because no one would answer it? There was this smart and popular kid that asked some stuff about economics: 8 months, no answers. They'd need to know how to put words in ways that everyone could discuss it, but they don't. -

Archie, many just sit back watching for the particular questions they want. Others aren't knowledgeable enough to answer the harder ones, and some people just don't want to discuss politics and that's the ONLY type questions you ask. -

V some do, just not enough. And there used to be trolls bad that would jump on everyone and insult you for asking questions and call names. Economics is another topic not a lot of people are knowledgeable about. And even less want to discuss. I try to ask all kinds of questions to give a variety and have even asked what kinds of questions people want to have asked. But they're tired of me. And I'm tired of not having more questions to answer.

I post questions for giving me an understanding in others with their answers. Some of my questions are general as I like to see different answers and sometimes strike a conversation if possible depending on the person if they are not argumentative. There is communication in people’s responses and it’s good to make each other heard.
