Of course! And cheap kids will do the kiosk thing! Don't doubt! But if they automate the burger industry that eliminates a lot of human error and contamination. It also controls portioning and waste. I think its a good idea. Most kids don't like working in fast food, and adults can't really survive without government assistance on lower wages so I see it as a win-win. It also eliminates cries of discrimination by customers.

Archie BunkerGetting rid of the lower tier jobs will not help the economy, Linda. These are entry level jobs where people learn valuable job skills. For the most part, these are not career jobs. Automating them, while saving the employer money (as a small business owner I know), will create a vacuum of unemployment.

bostjan the adequate 🥉Today's young adults are refusing to work in entry level jobs anyway. I don't understand how the economic model of the 21st century is going to look, but, at some point, mom and dad will stop sending money and people will have to find some way to make honest money.

Linda JoyArchie, I'm not advocating getting rid of all entry level jobs, just pointing out the pros of this particular case. And I worked fast food most of my life because it was a job I could get at the drop of a hat and I was discriminated against as a female mechanic, or even a painter for that matter. Fortunately times are changing.

Linda Joybj, Parents shouldn't send money to "young adults" to begin with. That's part of the entitlement problem and the reason they refuse work. CHILDREN should be cared for and taught how to take care of themselves instead of being taught to be dependent on their parents. ADULTS should take care of themselves!
