If someone pays my bills do i need to report it?
My gf lives with me and I was going to have her take some of the bills, my questions is say i let her take over the monthly payments of water, electricity, and phonebill; would i need to report this as income? Im hoping she can take some of the bills off me since she isn't paying any and that way i can save a little more for the things i like aswell. Would it make any difference if the bill accounts were changed to her name even if I own the house? i feel like water and electricity i might not be able to change the name of since they might go with the owner of the house, but something like cellphone bill or car insurance she could probably change the name on and take over and pay without it affecting me?

Report it to whom? If you are on any income based assistance you will. I think its also one of the questions on the income tax form.
