I've never really thought about such a thing. But when I see the question asked on a Q&A site, I think, "God...this person isn't spending enough time around other people...!" I don't think corn gets that disturbed. I think it's only a rumor started by the beans - you know how the beanstalk... [] On a similar note (now that the insanity has been breached), was Mark Antony a farmer or a money changer (banker) when he said, "Friends, Romans, Countrymen - lend me your ears...!"?
