Rice, beans, corn, tortillas, yucca,tomato, chile chicken, cacao, eggs, coffee, milk, Cuajada (home made cheese) I have dear friends that are Nicaraguan and own a farm. Visited there a few times.

I lived there for two years a long time ago and saw some but very few tortillas. Lots of black beans, rice, stewed beef (other wise very tough), chicken, fried bananas (sweetened), and platanos. Nicaraguan platanos look like a very large green bananas but not sweet and frequently boiled and starchy like a potato. Flor de Cana is an excellent Nicaraguan rum.
