Do guinea pigs normally get along with other piggies?
When I first wanted a guinea pig, I went down to a small pet shop looking for only one. I found one I liked but found out she had a sister. I bough them both, not wanting to separate them. The pet shop owner had said that guinea pigs are happier with their own kind and it's even better when it's with their family. Well.... at least twice a week for a month my smaller guinea pig would be found with new spots where the older one would rip off fur and skin. Some were even the size of a half dollar coin! Are all guinea pigs like this??
