  • Many people are upset because he coerced the nation into a war that had no grounds to be instigated in the first place, he and his crony's (the real owners of this country) played on the emotions of the American people to invade Iraq. Let me list a few more factoids; Iraq had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks of 911 or the actions of Al Queda. Al Queda is a made up terrorist organization that only exists in the imagination of the media. No weapons of mass destruction have ever been found unto this date in Iraq. Bush was appointed to office by the supreme court and not the final voters count. Well over 2000 soldiers have given their lives for the ideals of one man, not the peoples. Gas prices are well over $3 a gallon. Need I go on?... this is just pissing me off. • because as time goes on more and more people are finding out the bush is a war hungry greedy soab.
  • Rather than asking what has he done that was so bad, can you maybe name a few things he has done that are actually benificial to either america as a country or the world in general? The reason I ask this is because he has done (or allowed others under his command to do) so many bad things I believe it would be easier to name the good things he may have done.
  • Many different factors contribute to George Bush poor image in the eyes of the public. These include: Leading the invasion of Iraq which has subsequently led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of soldiers and civilians as well as destabilising the nation and pushing it to the brink of civil war. A poor, slow and ineffective response to hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Failure to support the Kyoto Protocol on climate change which could have world wide consequences (arguably). He is perceived to have an aggressive foreign policy that some see as a threat to world peace. Guantanamo Bay's continued running as well as the illegal extradition, imprisonment (without trial) and torture of supposed criminals/'terrorists'. Finally his generally perceived stupidity, 'Bushisms' and peculiar manners which can often been seen as severely embarassing to the USA.
  • I like george Bush, but why many people ( from other Countrys) dont like him, because, i think because they are jelous of him and USA, and they are Afraid of Him .
  • 100% on smart dude. It's complete ignorance. If you want to get the real answers about whats going on in Iraq the only people qualified to talk about it are the men and women over there. As them if there is no Al Qaeda. My new quote "If ignorance is bliss lately it seems Americans are in heaven"
  • I'll give you just one of the many reasons that people hate George Bush. The reason I'm going to give just one reason is twofold, one it's plenty reason really even if it was the only reason, and two I don't feel like typing out a novel and that's what it'd be if I listed every single bad thing Bush has done during his admin. 1. He started an unjust war based on lies (baseless propaganda.) Our country should never start wars. Never. The idea of "preemptive war" is insane. Truly absolutely insane. We are the bad guys in Iraq. Think about that. George W. Bush had undoubtedly made America into the bad guys. People all over the world see us that way now. He has done more to harm this country's reputation than any single person in the history of this country.
  • I think one of George's biggest problems is that he seems to live in a world of his own. He will never admit he might be wrong about something. He relies too much on Dick Cheney for his policy decisions and uses his good ole boy persona to laugh off his critics.
  • he's a murderous, crack smoking, liar, who needs to learn to speak
  • It's very simple. People hate George Bush because he has principles and is willing to act on them. He's not Bill Clinton, who made his decisions based on the latest opinion poll or how well he can please our enemies and competitors. That's all it is.
  • Go and see the magnificent buildings of Bagdad to see his mastery!
  • Others have done a more than adequate job of listing George Bushes transgressions. I, for one, just do not like his frat-boy, smug, arrogant, duh, personality. I wouldn't like him if he was my neighbor rather than president. Just do not like him. And Dick Cheney is a totally dislikeable person and is so ego driven that I think both of them should have to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue two blocks for each death in Iraq . . . not just soldiers but Iraqi citizens as well. I'm benevolent . . . they can do it in the summertime.
  • i am all for george bush. i want him as president so he can finish the war. i dont want anyone else to take his spot untill the war is over. what if the next person to become president says bring the troops home and then who we are at war with brings it over here in america. do you want the war over here. i know i dont. so they should just let him be the president untill the war is over.
  • Bush hasnt done anything wrong, in my opinion! Think about it, the 911 attack happend and would keep happening if we were not at war! They used to think we were scarred and wouldnt do anything, and we showed them we would! So if we just sat there, didnt do a damn thing, i strongly believe it would have happend again and again- i dont know how many times! Also, he is a strong Christian and i am 2, so i like that! Also, people say the slow progress to hurricane katrina was his fault-whatever! He is 1 freakin man, just because hes the president dont mean he can just fly over there in a split second, pop up some hospitals and new houses for every1!!!
  • Sunblynd said: Bush was appointed to office by the supreme court and not the final voters count. A very interesting interview of Justice Scalia by Leslie Stahl states the Justice as saying: Of all the cases that have come before him on the court, Bush v. Gore may have been the most controversial. It has been reported that he played a pivotal role in urging the other justices to end the Florida recount, thereby handing the 2000 election to George Bush. "It was Al Gore who made it a judicial question. It was he who brought it into the Florida courts. We didn't go looking for trouble. It was he who said, 'I want this to be decided by the courts.' What are we supposed to say? 'Oh, not important enough,'" Scalia jokes. Because of Al Gore's lawsuit, the Florida electorate could NOT have decided the vote.
  • He started an unwinnable war that will cost untold amounts of money and lives.
  • i think that people just need to chill out every one is human and we all make mistakes in life and if you think u r so perfect then try being in the presidents shoes. dnt judge if u dnt noe... i'm not defending no one here but seriously people you need to chill out!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
  • If Bush hasn't pissed off an entire country, then that's the problem; he did nothing. I'm willing to accept, obviously, that Bush is human, and that his job was hard, and disregarding my opinion of the Bush administration's intent, he might have done what he could in suppressing and/or acting on an already impeding conflict that's been looming for more than twenty years, perpetrated by someone else. He was just slurping up leftovers, and liked it. If Bush didn't "wage war" or can't be held responsible for so much loss, then whatever happened under his command, supervision or advice or WHATEVER far exceeds whatever good he did for his country; however, I suppose the good may not be seen. If Fox News is right, and I doubt it is, there might no longer BE any America anymore. Still, just tryna be fair-I don't believe he was the best president at all. But then, who am I to say, I'm not a soldier, or even an American.
  • he continued a legacy and helped drive one of the final nails in the coffin of freedom and democracy and peace...but it wasn't all Georgie, his family has been involved in politics, oil, banking, and such for many many years, he was groomed for this part he played...he was just one pawn in a large game thats been played out for over 100 years.
  • got born
  • Everyone talks about the war, and how he should be prosecuted for warcrimes. But did everyone forget how he tried to change the Constitution to re-define the only legal marriage is between a man and woman? Who is he to judge this? But on a positive note, he did give a lot of comedians a TON of material.
  • he is criminal.responsible for thousands killings
  • I personally think that if George W Bush ever should lave the comfort of the USA that he should captured and get send to the Hague to stand trial for crime against humanity.
  • You're kidding, right? Listen, I'm a Republican and voted for Bush twice, more so because I didn't like the competition. Bush got us into a war we didn't have to fight. No mater if you beleive the whole WMD debate, there was no 9/11 connection there. So, let's kick some Osamma ass & put Iraq on the back burner. Instead, we invade, find no WMD's, get no world support for our actions, and totally destabilize the region. How's that for starters?
  • He used the America for his own agendas and vendettas and disregarded the American people as a whole and due to his wars many families lost members serving in armed forces. He also lost the respect of fellow republicans. This my personal opinion of course.
  • Well, he declared than any scientific evidence that was contrary to his policies was "invalid" or "unproven". He was totally narrow minded and a puppet of Cheney and the far right. Even though Bill Clinton was a Democrat, he had right leanings and was close to being a centrist, despite his totally Democrat wife. I'm assuming you're talking about Bush the son, not Bush the father.
  • The (REAL) Worst American President? http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0708-27.htm
  • He destroyed our reputation with the rest of the world by starting wars and being a dick. . He destroyed our economy and elimated jobs in 2008. . He was a funny guy though. I'm sure he was cool.
  • Join the Republican Party is my analysis.
  • A certain level of arrogance.
  • If you have to ask that at this late date, you wouldn't understand if I told you. There are several books out there. Try one related to this topic by Al Franken for starters.
  • Nothing. He was wonderful and anyone who believes in democracy or truth is a snowflake HEIL the rich takeover. Heil having people work for so little they cant live indoors! HEIL! SEIG HEIL!
  • People dont THINK he was bad, he was bad. ALL REPUBLICANS ARE BAD. That includes your father or whatever ANY asshole who speaks in favor of them. PERIOD
