  • leave him alone. if he doesn't want to be active in her life, then forcing him will only cause more ill will and their meetings will be strained and awkward. invite him frequently, but don't take it to court.
  • My daughter now 24 grew up without her dad She saw him 1 time every few months for years and never called her in between visits. Don't talk badly ever about him He is paying child support That is good Let it go My daughter connected with her father while in College cause she lived near him They now have a beautiful loving close relationship And my daughter is a very well adjusted girl and Gives me a fathers day card every year and says Thanks for being Mom and dad to me You loved me enough to get me through You will be fine and so will your daughter. Let him take the initiative when he is emotionally ready . And tell your daughter he loves her because he probably does but is afraid of something BE KIND

  • You can't MAKE him vist her. The noncustodial parent (the parent whom the child does NOT live with) is the one who files for visitation with the child. If he doesn't want to visit, then forget him. You both are better off without him.
  • you can't enforce visitation to make a parent visit with a child because of the possible risk of danger to the child

  • You can't make him visit her by court order. what I suggest is finding out the reason why he doesn't visit. As a father, I know that often i was reluctant to visit my children because the mother would call, and tell me "you need to buy this and that" and I wouldn't have any money". also if the father is behind on child support, it is a federal law that he can't leave the state, so if he lives in another state, he is unable to visit. talk to him, and find out the reason he doesn't visit. I am sure he wants to, but there may be something that he is not telling you that is causing a problem. and don't get it twisted, fathers love their children, but sometimes the courts and the mothers treat us like a walking wallet instead of a father.

If children without fathers fare worse than children in two-parent families, say defenders of single mothers, the answer is better pay for women and better social programs. Yet even in Sweden with its generous welfare state, a major 2003 study found that children raised in single-parent homes were at significantly higher risk for addictions and serious psychiatric problems. • No one can make him visit her but you are getting support for her and unless she is asking to see him sometimes it is better to leave it alone. I go through so much drama with my ex I feel like I can't even breath.
