  • That's Watson Pharmaceutical's version of Lortab, 10/500. 10 mg Hydrocodone, 500 mg acetaminophen. It's a painkiller that's known for making people unbelievably nauseated. In case you're wondering, I know what the pill looks like because I've had a prescription myself. Check it out for yourself, using the pill identification function at www.drugs.com. Hope that helps. To the promoter of "not known for nausea," please take a look at the newly added material. And yea, I've had a prescription for the stuff here and there, from time to time, and guess what? There's always a "take with food or milk" type warning label on the bottle. Whenever I failed to heed the good advice, I always got a real pointed reminder about why it was given. Google found more sources, but why belabor the point? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.medicinenet.com/hydrocodone_and_ibuprofen/article.htm SIDE EFFECTS: The most frequent side effects experienced with hydrocodone include lightheadedness, dizziness, sedation, nausea, and vomiting. Other side effects include constipation and spasm of the ureter, which can lead to difficulty in urinating. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.medicinenet.com/hydrocodoneacetaminophen-oral/article.htm SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, flushing, vision changes, or mental/mood changes may occur. If any of these effects persist ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.streetdrugs.org/hydrocodone.htm COMMON SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE: dizziness, light-headedness, nausea, sedation, vomiting, and constipation. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.medhelp.org/forums/addiction/archive/234.html "I have a concern about the drug Hydrocodone/ Apap. I had a head injury in Feb. which has left me with severe headaches and was first put on Endocet 5/325. The dosage was one tablet every 4 hours as needed. My precription was changed to Hydrocodone/Apap 10/650, 2 tablets every 6-8 hours as needed. Since starting the hydrocodone I have severe nausea and vomiting and never experienced this with the Endocet." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And last, the office druggie. He's not eloquent, but you'll get the idea. (A sneezing fit? Right.) The Only OneBillboard »Hydrozoned My wrist was hurting this morning, and I was having a sneezing fit, so I took a hydrocodone tablet which was left over from my wisdom tooth debacle back in January. OK, I’ll admit it: I took the tablet as much for recreational purposes as for these aches and pains. I rode to work feeling fine, and at the office I felt better than fine — for a while. I tied up a lot of loose ends in the first hour. Then the nausea began. I ate a sandwich around 9:30, and an apple at 10 o’clock. That helped, but I still felt sick. If I hadn’t had that food I’m sure I would have barfed in my trash can. After drinking too much, nausea seems to increase if you lie down and close your eyes. But the hydrocodone nausea isn’t like that. I felt worse when trying to read or just look at a computer screen. I felt better when I closed my eyes and lay down on the floor. So I locked my door and lay on the floor for about an hour. Normally I would have been bored silly, but as it was, I was perfectly content, except for the nausea of course. I was just as happy lying there doing nothing as I was getting lots of stuff done. Another aspect of the opioid buzz. I almost went home sick, but instead I toughed it out. I thought that would be the mature thing to do. Yes, I know how ridiculous that sounds from a guy lying on the floor of his office zonked out on painkillers. By noon I was mostly functional. Note to self: Do not do this again. Unless you eat a really big breakfast. • Whenever you find a drug you're not familiar with, contact poison control, or a local pharmacy. If a pharmacy does not have the technology to identify the drug, they'll probably refer you to one that does.
  • This is a 10 milligram/500 milligram pill of Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen(Tylenol). Hydrocodone is popularly known by the brand names of Vicodin and Lortab. It's a semi-syntheic opiate which is derived from codeine and is potentially addictive, though the risk of addiction from a no-refills prescription is essentially zero. Hydrocodone is a safe drug in doses up to and typically beyond 30 milligrams, even for somebody with no previous contact with it. It's not advised to go beyond 60 milligrams daily, although addicts who have developed tolerance have been known to go well beyond this. The acetaminophen present in this pill is the more dangerous of the two drugs for a recreational user, as more than 3000 milligrams, or 3 grams, can possibly damage your liver.
  • i have a prescription to this pill you have found, it is Lortab 10/500 also people say they get nauseated when taking this pill without eating or whatever, I take them all the time without eating and dont get sick or anything, I guess all people are different...
  • Yes it is a painkiller with hydrocodone- and it does make alot of people sick but then again if your used to taking pills it wont mess with you, just as if your not used to taking narcotics it will mess with your stomach. I have used them for several years while going through cancer and when i first took them, it did make me sick, but now that i have had every pill under the sun it doesnt mess with me as bad. If it does upset your stomach try eating before taking it or shortly after you take it, may help!
  • Dude...go out to eat...get and movie...and lzy around the house. Pop that shit.
  • Yeah, those are good.. i remember gettin tons of those from this dude.. make ya feel real good.. it's basically just vicodin with less tylenol than the normal more common white ones.. It is VERY addictive though if you take it long enough..watch out.. trying to get off this shit is a pain.. it's like trying to go without eating for a week.. very hard.
  • Same here, I haven't yet experienced nausea with Hydrocodone 10mg/500mg on an empty stomach. On the other hand taking Motrin/Advil will get me every time! As for the Tylenol, I've found information that says the max dose is 1000mg @ 4x daily or no more than 4000mg.
  • why after this posting has been answered over 3 years ago do you dumbasses keep posting what it is, and sharing your druggie stories. Its pathetic! go find something better to do like take these pills you all like so much and od so we dont have to read your stupid overdue comments! Thank You
  • It is a generic Loritab (Hydrocodone). I have a script for them and get them on a reg basis
  • Watson 540 (light blue oval pill) is a generic form of Lortab, an opioid pain medication containing 10 mg hydrocodone and 500 mg acetaminophen (Tylenol). These do often cause nausea. But if my pain level is bad enough to warrant taking one, I do not get nauseated nor do I feel "high" or drugged up from these. I am simply more able to function. I've taken several of these on an empty stomach over the course of the day today, with no problems because I have chronic pain and also had a very painful type of major surgery only two weeks ago. A 5 mg dose of hydrocodone is plenty for most types of pain that's too severe to treat with aspirin, such as toothaches and even broken bones. But Watson 540 is a 10 mg dose and way too potent for a bit of wrist pain. I resent people who take pain pills for recreational use because this creates a stigma about these drugs and makes it more difficult to obtain them, for those of us who truly need these medications. So I'm happy to hear about somebody who puked their guts out when taking this drug for recreational use. NOTE -- These drugs are NOT safe in large dosages, mainly because the acetaminophen they contain is a liver toxin that kills about 100 people per year and hospitalizes many thousands of people, many of whom were using pain pills for recreational purposes. When mixed with alcohol, this can occur at relatively low dosages of acetaminophen.
  • They are hydrocodone!
  • Never made me nauseous either,altho sometimes they slowed my heart down.Usually if I took too many.Never nausea tho.Sorry you had bad stuff.;{
