Hi Kat. Just wanted to mention to be sure to not use synthetic chemical fertilizers or other chemicals if they are for consumption. There are many natural soil amendments which help plants and provide an excellent balance of nutrients. Many herbs are great for growing indoors. Some do prefer shade anyways. Just have fun with it. If something dies or you eat it all up...you can grow some more.

Make sure that you hand polinate the peppers, otherwise you will not get any fruit. The best way to do this is to knock the side of the pot with your flat hand. Knock about 20-30 times and do it several times per day.

I have found that using a can of compressed air (the kind you use to clean your keyboard) sprayed at your plants in short bursts does a really good job of pollenating your pepper plants.

Keep them by a sunny window, or get a growing light?
