Accodring to George lucas, he has no plans for making any more "Star Wars" films. I have seen books and read articles about ongoing stories with Luke Skywalker and Leia, but I think Lucas has come to a hiatis regarding the whole thing and would like to devote time to other things.

supershadow.com has the script synopsis for episodes 7-9. in my opinion, episode 7 seems a bit weak, but 8 & 9 are just as good as the rest. the present premier date is spring of 2014, let's hope it's a lot sooner than that. as long as there is money to be made, there will be more star wars films. also in the planning stage is a tv series to debut fall of 07' or 08'. from what they say it will detail the events between episodes 3 & 4 & will only star minor characters (what no early darth vader?).

there are books, but I have recently been informed that 7,8 and 9 are not likely to happen(unfortunetly)

there may not be films but there are many many books after episode six

It is the end of the story. Star Wars is about the story of Darth Vader. Darth Vader died. Story over.

Well... seeing as Lucas had no PLANS for a story when he made the original three, then had to CHANGE the original three because the new BS movies made no sense otherwise - and still, there are serious discrepancies (the "long lost" Jedi religion... fifteen years ago... Obi-wan going from 35 to 70 in those same 15 years...) - I would say, doesn't matter, since the franchise is dead to intelligent life.
