I don't know but I watched a documentary about The Da Vinci code and the presenter spoke with a man who was in a building. This building itself was a 'country' which in not its own city but another. I can't remember any of their names though. Doh!

The smallest RECOGNIZED country is the Vatican. Another of the controversial "countries" include: "A former World War II fort in the North Sea, which was settled 40 years ago and declared a state with its own self-proclaimed royal family, is called the tiny Principality of Sealand." It began life as Roughs Tower in 1941, is a 550 sq meter steel platform perched on two concrete towers 11km off the coast of Harwich, eastern England. It is currently for sale.
