if you are wearing white, that is, if this is your first marriage (it's white for 1st marriage, not 'cuz you're a virgin by the way, but that's another topic!! LOL) Then you ALWAYS want to emphasize your upper body......to take attention away from your height......& this goes for all your clothing all your life......unless you lost weight, of course,.......but I digress.......LOL SO ANYHOW.....wear all one color, in this case I assume white...... ........use something at the neckline area.......a scoop neck or square neckline will, believe it or not, give you the illusion of being taller, why no one knows, but it DOES..... your headpiece will be a big help here also......perhaps having just a LITTLE height to it......NOT TOO MUCH........would be good for you...... no necklaces of any kind as they 'break up' the space between your jawline and chest area ......remember, you will be adding height with the neckline of the garment, no necklace, and a SLIGHTLY high headpiece...... anything to draw the viewer's eyes up up up!!!!!!!! and a simple straight line gown is best; nothing with ruffles, pleats, bows. etc...... THINK OF IT THIS WAY......ANYTHING ADDED TO THE BODY OF THE GOWN WILL ADD more weight to your figure........ AGAIN, VERY IMPORTANT.........when you are trying stuff on, ask yourself...WHERE DO MY EYES GO? if they are going up to your face, that's GOOD......if the eye wanders all over, 'cuz of this and that on the gown, etc., then that's bad. and REMEMBER......these 'rules' are ones you should follow in your everyday clothing!!! now if you tell me your skintone, I can tell you which color palette is best for you!! are you warm? cool? not sure? here's how to tell......just turn wrist right side up......if it looks pink-ish, you are cool; if it looks 'golden' or yellowish, you are warm... so let me know!!!!!
