Im not totally new to VB, however I cant get around this. text I will not need to count ***start*** text I will need to count ***end*** more text I will not need When I run the search for "text"/replace with "". I get a count of 3. It should be 1. help?

To see what happens, rather run the following: search for "text"/replace with "gloppy" You could get something like: gloppy I will not need to count ***start*** gloppy I will need to count ***end*** more gloppy I will not need (there were three occurrences of "text", and they were all replaced)

My Variable is counting 3 "text" Strings I only need it to be the 1.
