not really, i guess cuz i havent seen them in public...
-
If I can eat in public I see no reason babies should not be allowed to.
-
No, but it does take some getting used to.
-
Not at all. I do think they should keep themselves covered so as to not offend someone. But it's a beautiful sight.
-
Nope, simply because i also have a mother. .
-
No. I personally don't think that this type of thing should bother anyone. Breastfeeding is perfectly natural. Would you rather a mother not feed her baby?
-
When I was a server there were a lot of times when women would breastfeed, and this was at a nice restaurant too. Sure, they should cover themselves with a towel or something, especially at a restaurant, but otherwise it doesn't matter. It's perfectly natural, and I root for women who go against this stupid "breast feeding is gross" rumor that's going around these days.
-
No, it's the most natural thing to do. I've seen breasts before also, so no big deal. I like to see the mother bonding with the baby. However, I've hardly ever seen any women breast feeding babies in public. If they do, they cover themselves pretty much.
-
Not at all. Breast milk is the best food for infants. Why is the male upper-body not considered offensive but the female upper-body is?
-
doesnt bug me at all...but then again, I am a teenager...my kind is usually happy to see breasts no matter what is on them. lol but no seriously, it doesnt bug me. if it bugs people to see a woman breastfeeding an infant than those people should stop eating and drinking from places like Starbucks, and Burger King. basically the same thing. we get the food and nourishment just like a baby would by breastfeeding...only differences are, we are paying for it, and its less healthy for us...lol sorry, i talk alot...i will end this now...lol
-
No. It bugs me when they hide their breasts & I can't watch.
-
no, as long as its not all out there and theyre covered up for the most part i have no issue.
-
No, babies need to be fed at certain times and if you lose that certain feeding it could throw their whole schuedule off,
-
Anything to do with breasts in public, I'm all for it.
-
yeah,it does
-
Not at all, a child needs to eat. perfectly natural. If it bothers a person they have too much time to moan about shit
-
I'm kind of neutral about it. I'm too much of a gentleman to stare so unfortunately I never get to see anything.
-
Not at all. Babies need to be fed. Women shouldn't have to go somewhere and hide to feed their children. Breastfeeding is not something to be ashamed of, but we seem to be trying to make it something women should be ashamed of. I say pop out the breasts and let the babies feed. If people don't like it, they can turn their head and look the other way... no one is forcing them to stare.
-
No, as long as they take the time to sit and make the child comfortable while he eats. Not like this:
-
I consider myself as a casual observer in these instances.
-
No, that's what breasts are for. If any perverts stare at them then that bugs me. It's amazing that women can flaunt their breasts as sex objects and that's fine but when they actually use them for their true purpose it's a big controversy.
-
No. I do hope a women is discreet though.☼
-
Absolutely not! First, such women are nearly universally careful to cover up anyway, and even if she didn't, feeding a baby takes precedence over every other argument, even though it would be a beautiful sight in my opinion.
-
not as long as they brought enough for everybody!
-
No, I mean that's what breasts are for ain't they?
-
Why would breast feeding which is as natural as breathing air bother others ... Hmmmm? ... Perhaps insecurity issues, perhaps more :) ... Whatever the reason, they need to grow up and learn more about life. Pathetic!
-
Nope. The breast has been way over-sexualized in our culture. It's only natural, I don't see why people get so bent out of shape about it.
-
Sometimes its actually exciting.
-
Not at all as long as they cover up. It's natural.
-
Not as long as it is her kid.
-
I don't care but I wouldn't smile or melt around her either.
-
If she has to do it in public she can just make sure that everything is covered under the babyblanket. I dont want to see her teeteee! Cant see why they really have to do it in public, there is babyrestrooms everywhere nowadays. +4
-
no it,s normal.
-
Certainly not.
-
I couldn't care less, but for me personally, if I was breast feeding my baby I would use a pump and bottle some for when I go out in public, for my own comfort levels, I'm a very self conscious person
-
I breastfed both my children and although i didn't go out on a mission to do it in public i didn't let my kids starve either and was confident to do it if i needed to. I was always modest and covered with a sling shawl but if the act really did offend anyone nobody ever let me know (probably knows where i would have told them to stick theis eyes lol) . I think its the most beautiful and bonding thing in the world between a mum and baby and think that todays culture is making some people have a desensitisation to this sexual culture of ours all around us but be squeamish instead and take offense about the non sexual? I'm glad that not many people share this view and hope that breastfeeding rates will impove. Here in the uk its a lot more accepted i think and we actually have clean and comfortable breastfeeding rooms for new mums that feel nervous about it. Most women myself included just used them if available because it was easier than trying to wrap a wiggling baby in a shawl.
-
It just doesn't matter who gets bugged, it's the lifeline for the baby!
-
No, and it shouldn't bug you either, she's keeping her child alive. +5
-
No, that's what you call having freedom, lol
-
No
-
I just don't understand why they get so mad when it's my turn.
-
On a personal level I'll be honest & say it's something I'd rather not see.... however, I'd never dream of preventing someone from doing so.
-
nah and with the way a lot of young females dress today making no real effort to cover themselves up at least when they are breast feeding there is a legitimate reason for their tits to be out in the open.
-
As a nursing mom, I'm glad to read these answers. Because I'm able to pump well, I tend to take a bottle w/ me for longer trips. I also shop more @ the few stores that offer nursing rooms. However, after almost 4 months of nursing I've gotten good @ covering up & will nurse in public if neccessary.
-
NO.
-
No, so long as it's done modestly and in good taste. Not blatantly and arrogantly. In other words, cover it up.
-
Why would it bug me.... Its a beautiful thing for a mother to breastfeed her child even in public! What the hell did god give women breasts for?
-
It doesnt bug me at all. I do when i have to. Breast feeding has actually saved me money and cleaning bottles so why not do it
