It was a white fish, it's a kind of boneless fish.

Catfish, caught about five miles from where I sit, in a tributary of the Arkansas river. It was a "good'en", about thirty pounds and two and a half feet long. Very good tasting. We had fried taters and onions and green peppers with it, hominy, okra, cabbage, beans, and cornbread muffins.

Gorton fish fillets. Unfortunately Mrs. Paul isn't what it used to be. Those fish sticks used to be great, but now there's so very, very little fish in them (far more bread than fish) that I feel like it's a lie to call it "fish". Gorton's has a decent amount of fish in the fillet compared to the amount of breading.
