OMG I love this question.....very good one!! I guess I'd have to say when I'd see myself in a store window with my glasses and gray hair........I'm 75 and look pretty good for my age; both parents and grandparents looked younger than they were so I'm blessed with that, and good health....... but anyhooo seeing 'that guy ' in a reflection did make me feel a little 'old' as in 'who's that old guy over there?"......LOL. and as most others say, "I don't FEEL the way that I LOOK" so I guess I have that much on my side, so to speak..........

you are so right!! but even better is when a song you loved when younger comes back, ok that's to be expected....but once I heard a song come back and it was the THIRD TIME AROUND; sort of a comeback of a comeback.........can't recall the title now, but it amazed me at the time.........

I started noticing I was getting old when I was around 75. I am 78 and will turn 79 in a few months. I am learning I cannot do the things I could only a few years ago. I think one of the things that is making me feel old is having to continue life alone. I have friends but they do not fill the bill of a companion.

When I went to the doctor at 40 with back pain. He looked at the xray and said he was surprised to find arthritis because I was so young. Then he looked at my record and said well I guess you're not THAT young! The doc looked like he was about 12!
