Its curious but I have always kept the top of my TV free of any item. Also I cover the TV overnight and after each session watching it!

Nothing. All my TV's are ultra-slim. They have a flat screen profile of 1.1 inches.

It's a flat screen. There's no room for anything to sit on top of it. Even the cat doesn't try. 9/11/23

This is an old question isn't it. Its near impossable to sit anything on top of a modern flat screen. I do remember my mum putting a vase on top of the brand new tube tv in the early 80's that didn't end well the cat knocked it over with in the week and killed the TV. She blamed me for throwing a ball at it .

They say, these days, there's too much sex on the tele, but personally, I don't get what the big deal is. It's rather uncomfortable, honestly, compared to almost anywhere else in the house.
