I was a first-class carpenter as a kid. I had a contract crew and built mainly garages. My partner and I could finish an average garage in a day. We took on an extra helper for large, double-car garages. We also did home additions, new homes and a few industrial buildings.

I have enough carpentry skills to hammer a nail or put a screw in were needed. My favorite part of carpentry is prepping wood for refinishing.
