i worked away in a mine for nine months. would come home ever weekend or 2nd weekend. it lasted the whole nine months. but only just. i got depressed being out there in the middle of no where for so long, the only girl on site so i locked my self in my dorm straight after work. and did not come out until morning. but if youa re with the right person distance shouldnt matter. i am still with him nearly 3 years now, but we have lived together for the last year

I kept one going for over four years, moved back East after I got out of the Navy, and lived with her another three before tying the knot over eight years ago.

My first one lasted 6 months, then we mad eit a no distance relationship and it lasted another 10 years almost. currently, 5 years long distance and counting

my last relationship lasted almost two years, it took me that long to finally open my eyes and see his lies and grow tired of his bullshit and drama.i tried to kick him out but he wouldn't leave so i made it very unhappy for him and that worked, he left. i thought i would be sad at times because i did care for him. but i haven't been sad at all, not even for one day. im happy and feel more like myself... sorry for the long answer.

One lasted over 2 years. The other HAS lasted over 9, the last 5 (as of Dec 24th), married. I guess, technically, as an LDR, it only lasted a few months, then she moved up to be with me.

when i first jumped on the interwebz in the early 90's, i had my fair share of them ... the longest distance was about 800 miles and that lasted 4 months or so ... the others were much closer and usually after we hooked up, we just moved back to the "friends" stage
