Volume 1. The fight scene between The Bride and O-Ren was probably one of the best I have ever seen.
-
Volume one; no Michael Madsen.
-
honestly I think if you see 2 before you see one you will not get it. ***Edit*** ok since I have seen both I perfer 2 but if you have never seen either I think you should watch one first. :) how was that better
-
Definitely one. Loved the fight scene previously mentioned and, for some reason, enjoyed the heck out of her talking her toes into moving.....yeah, i know...I'm a little weird. lol
-
I prefer one, but the taken as a whole, it's a darned good action film and a great tribute to a lost genre...
-
First one Charlie Brown-san

It's hard. I can't think of two sequels that are that different and still that good. I'm in a 2 type mood, so I'll say 2. Your opinion as to why I'm wrong is as useless to me as an asshole right here.
-
Wow. They were both good. I'd have to say the first was the best, but if put together they would make a GREAT long movie.
-
First one - the music was catchy and the fight scene starting with the crazy 88's and ending with O'ren Ishi'i was an absolute masterpiece of martial arts weaponry.
-
I much prefer Vol 1, I thought Vol 2 was quite an anti-climax
-
I only saw the first one, and that was complete and utter shite. It was practically pornographic -- I felt like I needed a shower after watching it...
-
The first one had more action, and was much more violent. The second was more story based. Unfortunately, I can't choose only one, on the basis that I think you really have to have both in order to see things come full circle.
-
It's a toss up between the first and the second. The third blows.
