sailor jerry, you can have unprotected sex just about any time. Doesn't matter if you take sugar pills OR if you get your period.

As long as you took all the other pills that came before the sugar pills that month as you were supposed to you're all set

Yes but you shouldn't have unprotected unless you're trying to get pregnant.
