I saw that movie when I was a kid and loved Gizmo. But I didn't like Spike at all. I also had the Gizmo doll! I wonder what my parent did with it? Hmmm

Yes I did, when it came out in the theatre. My husband bought one of those gremlin dolls of stripe, the evil gremlin and wanted to put it under our daughter's bed! He was upset when it was too tall so he put it behind the door. When we were putting her to bed he said something like "what's that noise?" Go look behind the door! She screamed. Nice dad, huh?! Even though it startled her, she thought it was funny. We still talk about that every now and again.

I saw it a couple of times. I liked it, but would be careful about letting my kids see at least the part about the girl's father, if they are still young. (It might also be a bit scary for younger kids.)

Yes. I have both Gremlins and Gremlins 2 in a double dvd box set. Classic movie. It’s one of my childhood movies and I still enjoy the movie.
