The only Americans are the Canadians in North America, because they where a British terrtory under Queen Victoria. US citzens was freed before she came to power, and did not like British rule. Mexicans, Central and South Amercaians where never owned by British.

Second: see: Belize (former British colony in Central America) and British Guyana (former British colony in South America, now just "Guyana"). Finally: several Caribbean islands, which are normally considered to be part of North America, are former British colonies.

NO...that's a Canadian Federal Holiday in honor of Queen Victoria. So far, Americans don't have a Queen or King...just PITA Presidents!!!
