Mildew that is not real bad can often be removed with soapy water. Diluted Alcohol with water may also help, but can dry out the skin. A good leather conditioner may be applied once the vest is dry. Look into what caused the mold to occur. Was the vest improperly stored? Consider having it professionally cleaned to fully remove the mold.
