I do, about two hours before. An east coast Floridian, I watch it rise most every morning out of my living room window, which faces the Atlantic Ocean. It's an almost daily experience...and it's beautiful. +5

Getting to the point where the sun will go down for all of 3 hours. So the sun dosen't really get up anymore, it just stays there.

I have NEVER woke up before the sun unless MADE to. I should though...i think I would get more done...and be more alert throughout the day...and alot more time...I would be done with everything before noon...like the little old ladies who go shopping at 8. (when the sales are good)

I am a farmer. I must rise and shine 3 hours before the Sun as a matter of necessity. Seasons, rain or the summer heat don't make any difference to this necessity of mine. I must make sure the milk is despatched to the processing plant by 6 am. I must see that the Jasmine flowers are put into the solvent before they bloom at sunrise. Work related essentials.

At this time of the season in winter on the West Coast, sunrise begins at 7:25 am. I am nearly 1 hour up first to start off day.

This is the winter time here in Nepal. The temperature in the early morning drops to around 2 C. It is cold to wake up early in the morning. Therefore, in my case, the sun wakes first these days, but I sure you that I will wake up first as soon as the winter gets over.
