Did you mean "The Monkees?" Mike Nesmith went on to make some more albums and produce albums for others. I think Davy Jones did some more pop and theater. Mickey Dolenz is the father of actress Amy Dolenz.

My best friend had such a crush on Davy Jones when we were six and eight. She made me almost run home every night so she could watch the Monkees. I saw Davy Jones at a distance a few years ago. I didn't have time to go talk to him, as I was working. He had dreams of being a jockey at one point and he is still involved with horses. I use to LOVE the Monkeys! When I was a kid my sister & I would drool over them! Just recently Peter Tork had surgury for a rare form of cancer on the bottom side of his tongue.

There's a really good documentary about them from formation to breakup that's been playing on the Smithsonian Channel called "Making the Monkees."

Of course, I was a little kid and we use to watch it all the time. We thought they were cool because they reminded us of the Beatles. Did you know that Peter Tork's mother invented the office product Liquid Paper (White Out)?

They were THE musical influence thru like 6th grade, which is actually pretty pathetic. Mike's music with the group was very respectable, though. "I'm a Believer" was the recessional at our wedding (and "Still the One" was it at our 10-year renewal of vows). Mike Nesmith created some albums, had a short-lived TV show in the 80s, and made his living as a record producer. The other 3 had a reunion tour in the 80s; Davy Jones was in plays (I dated a woman briefly who saw a show he was in, and who happened to sit down right behind him when he was reviewing the script).

They went bananas and split

The Monkees got back together a few years ago (without their guitar player, Mike Nesmith) and did some touring up until 2006. I'm not aware that they toured together since then, but Micky, Peter and Davey are still doing solo concerts. Mike Nesmith hasn't toured since the `90's, but there is a rumour that he is working on that possibility. I saw them a few years ago at a County Fair. It was a great show! A lot of people don't like the Monkees because of their commercialism, but for what they do, they do it well.

It's "The Monkees." They were a pop band formed in Los Angeles in 1966. Their popularity spiralled downhill before they broke up, and then got back together in 1986. They faced chemistry problems, but were smart enough to cut it off when they needed to.

Most of them have died.

They were working on making a comeback when 3 out of the 4 passed away. Mickey Dolenz is the only one left & I think he's touring on his own in 2023.
