Yes, it does. Once you reach a certain age it will fade away on its own.
-
it can. there is hope for everyone. but do not despair. you can still be cool with acne. watch some INXS videos, and look at Michael Hutchence. eeeggghh. he had acne. (but his might have been aggravated by drug use, which leads to vitamin deficiencies)

For many people, acne is a right of passage through the hormonal roller coaster of your teenage years. Usually, once you pass out of the growing years, acne subsides. For some people, it will always be a problem though (adult acne). And many women with delicate menstrual hormonal balances see acne appear with their monthly cycle. Also, some women experience acne with pregnancy. Treat your skin well. Wash your face, keep it clean and stay away from greasy and sugary foods. That really will help. Otherwise, ya just gotta wait it out!
-
For boys at a certain age it will go away permanently... girls are not so lucky. It will come back whenever your hormones go out of wack. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, menopause.

Actully, with acne, its weird becasue everyone is diffrent. I had acne (still do) since third grade, and i know a teacher still has acne, and worse then i do. SO i have to disagree with the The Trotskyist Brain 49. Its true that they go all wack for girls at the time of the month, but the best bet is for you to go to a thermatologist. I went to one, and thats why my acne is so much better then how it used to be liek 2 years ago. I tried so many acne things, and just gave me more acne. Th ethermatolojist tried three diffrent things on me by about 2-4 diffrent visiits, and one of th elast ones worked. and you put it on a night too, so thats even better. hope this helped.

i think so. But Not very quickly, it can be OHH so horrible.
-
yes. a cheap acne cream treatment is toothpaste. it really does work! put a little bit of toothpaste over the spot with a bandaid over it over night and in the morning it will have gone down a little. do it for like 3 nights straight and it should be gone mostly. also proactive works alot! it works so well!
-
not relly but you can hellp it i am only a girl but i haid a lot of pimples but they got away by using proactive u shol do it
-
You can get acne under control. But you don't want to rely on it just going away. The scar tissue you can develop is worse than the acne itself. Nobody should wait for acne to get better because it can be a disaster.

Yes, and i am speaking from experience. Growing up in my early teens, I went through quite a lot with all the "miracle cures" that would get rid of acne (none of them ever worked, of course) Eventually I found it easier to just ignore them. Eventually, as I am now reaching my twenties, my acne has reduced. So I guess what I'm saying is just be patient.
-
It usually goes away on its on for most people....eventually.

The answer to your question is yes. At its core, acne is simply caused by an imbalance of hormones. This imbalance occurs but not limited when, puberty, pregnancy, menstural cycles, etc, occurs. For most men mild to moderate acne vulgaris ends anywhere from age 21 to 25 depending on the personal rate at which one physically matured during puberty.
-
It can, when your skin settles down from its inbalance. In the meantime, keep it clean with oatmeal scrubs. They unblock pores gently and reduce redness.
-
It usually goes away faster after a zit gets popped.
-
Depends if it can get the time off work.

Acne is different for everyone. I had clear skin for most of my life and then at 24 acne! I have been to 5 dermatologists, a medical spa, been on anti-biotics, Retin-A, Retin-A Micro, Ziana, microdermabrasion, laser treatment and many over the counter medications. Turns out if acne is along jaw, neck and chin-it's hormonal. Birth control can make it worse if it's not the right one. Your gyno can test your blood to see if you have too much or too little of certain hormones, your doctor can prescribe the right birth control to balance the hormones. Anti-androgens can also help with in conjunction with the correct birth control. Also, one dermatologist said to me, "the skin is a canvas for what is going on inside you". I now eat organic and have fruit everyday. Good luck! Acne can beat the heck out of your self-esteem as I found. I learned that looks are something I relied on too much and I now empathize with those with severe acne

It depends on the person, really. Acne does have something to do with hormonal imbalance, and sometimes certain scrubs can prevent it from coming up, and sometimes it just goes away once you reach a certain age, or it just pops up at a certain age. With every person it's different, which is why I find acne medications funny. Of course, that could just be my bizarre sense of humor... Personally, I'm clear 3 weeks out of the month, and get giant zits that 1 week before... well you know. They quickly go away afterwards, but no matter what I do, I can't stop them from coming back. So, yes, it does sometimes go away on its own for some people.
-
I think it does, i asked a doctor once, that popping it makes the oil spread, even if you try to clean it.
-
i had acne when i was youger i havent got it now i found that not having dairy products helped me
-
For me it did... I had Severe acne starting when I was 13. It was mostly just a whole bunch of cysts. At around 14 it was just some huge pimples. When I turned 15 the pimples got smaller but more of them popped up. Now I'm 16 and it's practically gone. ...but the scarring remains. Hope this helps. Note: I didn't start using ANY topical treatments until just last week...at now I only have about 3 small pimples left :)

Lol u all got specific answers... plain and simple ACNE goes away for everyone, but pimples never do. Ull always get 1 or 2 here and there... acne is pretty much gone by ur early 30's, maybe 40's depending. Acne and pimples are two different things... hate when ppl who get 1 or 2 pimples on their face complain and call it acne. You unappreciative little idiots lol.

It does with age, at least a bit, but I am 39 and still dealing with this. I have learned how to deal with my skin and I am obsessive about taking care of it. I really think that the key to acne is using good products (and there are a lot of them out there) and using them consistently. 2x's a day, every day.
-
Yes, it does. Sometimes acne occurs because of issues with hormones and the immune system. Just like other types of skin conditions like seborrheic dermatitis and eczema, acne [that is resistant to topical treatments], is usually a symptom of other internal factors. You can check with your doctor and dermatologist about topical creams and having your hormone levels tested, and getting a complete physical examination. Hopefully this will help.

I SAY IM NOT SURE IF ACNE GOES AWAY ON ITS OWN. BUT I FEEL AS IF ACNE IS SOMEHOW CONNECTED TO OR TRIGGERED BY TOXINS IN OUR SYSTEM. IT DOES COME IN DIFFERENT CIRCULAR SHAPES AND SIZES AND MOSTLY POP UP IN NUMEROUS PLACES OF THE BODY SUCH AS NECK, BACK, FACE, AND CHEST. FOR FEMALES IT IS A DOWNFALL DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO WEAR CLOTHING THAT REVEALS THE BACK AREA. THE MAKE UP DOES COVER UP THE REDNESS BUT THE TEXTURE STILL REMAINS BUMPY THUS REVEALS THE PIMPLE UNDERNEATH. IN OTHER WORDS ACNE IS A DRAG AND STILL NOT COMPLETELY CURABLE. ACNE HURTS MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY AND S DISGUSTING TO DEAL WITH DUE TO THE PUSS UNDERNEATH THE SKIN, DEFINATELY A SKIN INFECTION OF SOME SORT.
-
I think it does for most people since most adults don't have it or it rarely comes up. I had it a little in my teens and other than an occasional cyst thing breaking out on my chin during my periods, it all just disappeared when I was about 19.
-
For some people it does. Some people suffer from acne for a few years throughout their teens and then it goes away. Some women suffer from it mildly at certain times during their menstrual cycle... but for some people it never goes away without medical intervention. Mine didn't. I tried every antibiotic and prescription skin lotion there was. Finally out of exasperation I changed my dermatologist who prescribed Roaccutane. Even though my acne was only moderate, it was obvious it wasn't going to go away. So if your skin is bothering you, see a doctor. If you're not satisfied with the treatment he gives you, see a different doctor.
-
Yes it does! Rest assured that it will all go away on its own, even if you don't 'help it along'. I had acne when I was 15-17, and it left just like it came.
-
I pour peroxide in a spray bottle and mist it over my face when I have a breakout. It's cheap and works wonders.
-
most of the time.. by like, your twenties I'm guessing, I'm 18 and had it the worst around 15 and 16, it's slowly receding back into my face and it feels awesome.. and also because I'm using clearasil- continuous acne control, you put it on 1 or 2 times a day and if you miss a day, your acne is still goin away.. it comes in a purple thing and it's around ten bucks..

Yes,if it is just caused from a reaction to something you were allergic to. If you have oily skin and you break out then you should take care of it with cleansers for oily skin. It is the fastest and easiest way to do it.
