What is a girly song? You mean "my man he done me wrong and I love him so"? I think we are drawn to music that says something to us..what it says is different to each person. I hope we haven't come to the point in our society where you can only like "macho dude" songs if you're a guy and "girly girly" songs if you're a gal. Good grief, gadzooks, yikes and for goodness sakes. I think you're normal..as normal as anyone else. I like refried beans on my pasta instead of red sauce...I'm the only one I know that eats pasta that way. So what? I like it that way! Happy Sunday! :)

Unless the song is specifically about female anatomy or hygeine...I don't see how a song can even be called a "girly song". These are unfair labels, designed to control the development of men and women, into insensitive he-men, and dainty princesses, respectively. Pop, Hip Hop, Techno, Classical...listen to whatever you want, forget about what the sheep think.

Of course that's fine...no one would think twice about a girl who likes listening to something like metal or a more "masculine" artist, say like Bruce Springsteen. Enjoy whatever makes you feel good.

I don't think so. music always mesmerizes your mind, no matter its a guy song or a girly one or an oldy one, or whatever. We are always influenced by the sweet tone that our mind likes. It's perfectly normal :)
