depends where it is?
-
Buy a swim suit that covers the tattoo or wear a tank top to cover the tattoo - it would be very helpful to know where the tattoo is located since all my suggestions cover any tattoo on the torso.

Band-aid

Interesting... so you got the tattoo to show that you're a rebel, but you're afraid your parents will find out?
-
if it's not covered by your bathing suit then you're basically screwed... or you could just stop being scared of your parents.
-
just tell them about it...expose it and see if they say anything to you first..
-
where is the tattoo??? It it on the torso wear a tank top or one piece if on the leg or foot idk use a band aid
-
It depends where the tattoo is and how big it is!! It may well be virtually impossible to hide it though!

"You should have thought of that before you..." ~the beginning of many wonderful stories!

Where your tattoo is? If it's on your lower back - wear a higher bikini, if it's on your leg - wear a long beach skirt (in case you are a girl). If on your ankle - wear a wide bracelet, if on your arm - wear a bandana around. If you can't hide it, just tell it's a temporary henna tattoo, and it will come off in some time. Later, when they get over their first shock, you can tell you decided to get a real one.

where is the tattoo?? i suggest you wear a one-piece bathing suit, because it covers most of your body. if the tattoo is still in a place that's visible even with a one-piece on, well, i guess you've got some news to break to your parents....=/

its on my chest and ima guy

Look unless you're Jewish, where it really matters to them, now is the time to get it out in the open. Unless you are like 16 and well, ****** ....since at that age, parents can take legal action against the tattoer.
-
tell them its temporary one, and that it will come off later then tell them a while later that its real because you like the design of it. But if its really new less then 6 months old, get one of the large water prof band-aids and cover it up. or go to tattoogoo.com and get the sun screen kind that they have it works wonders and keeps the colors fresh, and looking new.
-
Add some henna around the edges of the tattoo and tell them the whole thing is temporary.
-
It's the ideal place to let them see it, 'happy swimming', alternatively water proof foundation make-up!
-
LOL - no clue
-
you might not be able to
-
just dont go if you dont want them to see it
-
It depends on where it is and the size, but some waterproof bandaids work very well.
-
They will presumably see it sooner or later so have a "coming out" party and be done with it. If they freak out then they do but they'll probably get over it.
-
If you're old enough to get a tattoo you're old enough to handle the consequences!
