Yes, it has a large central library downtown plus maybe about 20 branches. Then there's the county system that overlaps a bit with it, then the other counties have theirs and they have some city library systems, too. Lot of libraries out here. (W Washington)

Many, including a big central library which has been there for well over a century or two. I'm not sure many people between the ages of 5 and 65 use them though!

Commissar Newsom the Gruesome shut the libraries down over a year ago, so the Bay Area has libraries in name only.
