I love Adam Lambert and Im older, but when I heard that song I didnt like it, BUT I cant get it out of my friggin head. I love country too but for some reason the way Adam did it just seems to stick with you. Ive been humming it for three days now. Danny and Adam final is my prediction, With Adam winning.

At first I didn't like Adams at all but as it went on I liked more and more. I actually think it could be released and be a hit. You just can not compare the 2 Cashs or Adams. It like they not even the same song. Like Faith Hill remake of Joplin's "Take Another Piece of My Heart"

Are you asking who is better, or who was first? I don't know Adam Lambert, so I can't answer the first question. As far as who was first, it wasn't Johnny Cash. It was the Carter Family.

Okay, Johnny Cash is classic and no one can really compare to him, so rather than simply copy his song, Adam "made it his own". I know, someone else did the middle east version first, but Adam did it a LOT better. I loved his rendition, it was sultry...sexy...and he did everything the judges are always asking the contestants to do. "Don't be karaoke"..."Show us your range"..."Make it your own"..."Be versatile"...yadda, yadda, yadda. Well, that's exactly what he did, and how did Simon react? He trashed him. Oh well. I like Simon, and most of the time I agree with him...not this time. I think Adam has an amazing and extraordinary talent and his "Ring Of Fire" blew me away!

They such completely different versions, you really can't compare the two. Cash is the original...and it's hard to beat the original. But, I do like Adam Lambert and found that a very interesting arrangement of the song. I think Adam will go to the end.

LOL country and Adam Lambert is not good , but he can sing most anything else obviously Johnny Cash is known for the song Ring of Fire, June wrote that song specially for him

You're kidding, right? Lambert hasn't earned the right to sniff Cash's jock yet. Give him about 40 years and then we'll see. Johnny Cash is a f***ing genius. Lambert has a fan base of 14 year old girls that haven't yet realized he will NEVER sleep with any of them.

Johnny Cash is awesome, but Adam is so artistic and I loved him the best.
