I cannott begin to say what it was and what it meant, when I heard the dreadful news that Kurt, killed himself. I went and sat in my room and looked at all the pictures I had of my friends and family. I was beyond words when I heard that Kurt died. It was like the flame of our youth was blown out by a single bolt of lightnening the day he let it go. I felt for his wife and his daughter. And it is only now that I express my true feelings of that tragic event. I seen how deeply it effected my generation, for we learned that life was not all fun and games. I especially felt bad for Kris novoselic, for he went into a serious depression, for it was he and kurt that had pratically been inseperatable for over 10 years. I would have to say the most influential song that I heard was the prolific song "All apologies" sorry for the extended version

Heart Shaped Box ..... since it was the last release (?) and Nirvana were clearly getting better and better it makes me wonder what we've all missed out on with Kurt dying when he did, though artistically they went out at their peak so that's good for their memory I guess.
