Potter was better, Henry was kinda of flaky..
-
Both were good, but have to go with Col. Potter and Sophie.
-
Sherm was a better commanding officer but Henry was a better fit for the wacky cast.
-
"Sherm" Every comedy needs at least one straight-man (feed or stooge).
-
Potter for sure!!
-
Potter! Great father image and not an idiot like Blake. He was an joke to the position. 4+
-
The Henry Blake from the movie. He was hilarious.
-
Col. Potter without a doubt.
-
i liked henry. ill miss him.
-
Colonel Potter. The character of Potter was exactly like my father. Even while my father was living I would remark to him that they had identical personalities. Interestingly enough, I named my daughter a name you rarely hear, which I noticed recently in the episode where his son-in-law comes to visit, is the same name as Col. Potter's daughter.
-
Henry Blake easily over Potter. Henry Blake was much more like the character from the movie. Mash started out wacky like the movie and it was a better series when it stayed that way. Got to serious later on and Potter reflected this. BLAKE easily over Potter.
-
i liked them both but potter, i did cry when blake got killed before he really made it home. +5
-
Liked them both, but Potter gets my vote.
-
Colonel Potter.
-
Only Potter..he was perfect for the role just like he was in almost every role he was in from his very earliest ones in the 30s and 40s to his last ones!
-
I cant decide. I loved Henry and it broke my heart when he got killed. But Potter was such a great leader type. And he loved his horse! ..... I just don't know... oh .... ok.... Potter. :)
-
Colonel Potter I always thought he worked well as a straight man to the antics of BJ and Hawkeye also because I used to work with a guy who looks exactly like Colonel Potter.
-
Potter.

Henry Morgan~~Col. Sherman Potter was more realistic he could have been a CO this other guys was very funny but he would not last five minutes in a MASH UNIT or any UNIT~~these guys are fiction but the real commanders are sometimes pricks and a holes but I had a good Lt.Col. as I never got into trouble and he always was there for me when I needed an emergency leave when I had a death in my family~~I had a Captain Sands that used to treat me good when the NCO Sergeants were being chicken~~ I would talk to Captain Sands and the next time the sergeant talked to me they were mad I went over their head but the could not touch me~~ I guess I was like Radar?
-
both just can't pick one over the other
