Actually, many do. They are motorized and are called "scooters". Some are even called "riding lawn mowers". I have one myself.

I live in RV Communities amongst Senior Citizens. I can assure you that you see enough of those in these resorts. I myself had to quit bicycling last year because I got dizzy on it.

Quite a few do, as in big bikes with 3 wheels and a nice basket for groceries. And then there are a few local ladies who gave up their cars for the summer and ride 3-wheeled scooters like Piaggos and trikes around town:-)
