That is the best part of caller id, now I can decide who to talk to and who to ignore.

Yes. The answering machine is my call screener. Typically the only ones who call are bill collectors and there's no one named Bill at my house. :)

No I don't avoid it, but I do have call display so at least I know who's calling. It's handy to see who called but didn't leave a message while you were out also.

Sure, only if i'm not in the mood to talk which is always. but when my mom calls i always pick up her calls.

If I don't know who it is, it's a bad time to talk, or I'd rather text. I never answer the house phone unless I know who it is though.

Every chance I get! There are only about 7 or 8 people that I'll talk to, and I have their "ring-tones" memorized, so that's the only time I even look.

Yes sometimes I go through that where I don't feel like talking on the phone. I haven't talked to a friend that has been calling me since last Wed. yet but she knows that I am alive because I did email her today:)) but I still haven't answered when she has called. lol
