Sorry, Tjoebaxter. I quit 14 year ago.
-
Sure! Right after Christmas?
-
I quit in 1982, i have a head start on you.
-
i dont smoke but they had an article on apa.org about smoking, still the november issue. you might have to search for it once you get to the site. it talks about research on the addiction of smoking ciggarettes.
-
Well sure me too, any idea pal?
-
I don't smoke but sweetheart, you have ALL of my support as you take this step to a better life for yourself and more money in your wallet. You CAN do this! I'm here for you. *hugs* And I'm proud of your decision to try to quit. :)
-
How about if I promise not to try ? :)
-
Sure ..but I packed it in 15 years ago...go for it. I'll support you all the way...you get stuck get back to me.
-
YEAH TJ!!! I'm so happy you are quitting. I don't smoke,so I can't quit, but I offer you oodles of support. Remember just hang in there, even if you stumble just keep trying. I read somewhere a while back that the physical addiction to nicotine is gone in 72 hours, it's the mental addiction that's tough.
-
I quit 20 years ago and I am so happy that I did. It was difficult but very much worth the effort. Go for it and good luck!!
-
+3 For supporting you to quit.
-
I would, but I already quit about six months ago! : ))
-
I quit it about 30 years ago. After some struggle ofcource. I will keep you motivated though your struggle to quit. Quitting smoking is worth the struggle.
-
Sure,,,Now what do I do?,,, I just keep trying ,,,One of these days I will be smoke Free;)
-
I don't smoke, but I will support your efforts. Good luck! I think it helps to grdually withdraw. If you can cut out one cig every day, by the month's end, you will have cut down by a pack a day.
-
I've been thinking about taking them up so I could give them up-seemed noble.
-
I quit 6 year ago...without any divine intervention or pills or patches. Cold Turkey...is the best way to do it.
-
I don't smoke. But the only way is cold turkey - FACT! I'll spend a lot of time with you those first three days when you are a raving lunatic. LOL!
-
I've never been a smoker but if you need some help or someone to distract you, I'll be here on AB and I'm sure all of us would love to help. (((hugs))) to get you going:-)
-
I have been trying to quit for so long but I always seem to find a reason to start right back up. I'm pulling for you and I'm proud of you for wanting to quit. Your the boss of your body...you'll come out the victor!!! Good Luck:))
-
Quitting is easy...I've done it, like, 3 or 4 times already.
-
I dont smoke but everytime you want to have a cig, just do something else to take you mind off of it, like have sex or something :) That should cure it, you wont think about cigarettes for a while. Unless you were one who likes to smoke afterwards, then that could be a problem.
-
Sorry I am to stressed to try that again, but I did once using Chantix !! It sooo worked but then I said f it and started again. Uuugh, I will quit soon.
-
I have already quit , 7 years ago...I feel fantastic ...and you will too ! Just remeber to reward yourself at the end of every week , it really makes a big difference ! I would put aside all the money I would have spent on ciggaretesand then blow it all at the end of the week on what ever made me feel good...clothes , odds and ends...food ... even a massage !
-
