There is always something to live for, even though your view may be clouded, the clouds will eventually lift. Don't you want to see the beautiful rainbow on the other side of the storm? I know it's there, and one day, you will see it with your own eyes.

The liberating bliss of indifference.

Everyone always has something they can live for, even if it's helping someone less fortunate than themselves down at the local shelter.
-
Oh, it's easy. The alarm goes off in the morning because there is a job to go to & we we need that to pay the mortgage on the house. There's nothing more and nothing less. Any questions?

I'd have to know more to say what I think. You may have suffered a loss or you may be depressed. Whatever it is, seek counseling and/or meds to help yourself get out of the hole.

Life. Even without a specific reason to live, I desperately enjoy living life. There'll always be something fun that day. Trust me, if you look for it you'll see it. :)

I was there and what kept me alive was the hope that life would get better....and it DID!

When I have nothing to live for, I live for the time when I will have something to live for.

there are many reasons to continue living. i know it is hard in this world to be happy, but even then life is beautiful. focus on God's creation. if you believe in his existence that is a start. when you see beauty all around you, know that there is a reason for its being. when you see a beautiful butterfly fluttering by realize that it has a creator, and this creator had you in mind. this precious butterfly is here to remind us how much God loves us. these details in creation are a testimony of how much interest God has in us.

Hope. Live for hope that one day soon the emptiness will not be so empty, the darkness not so dark. Live for hope or you will not live at all, you will simply exist. Look for the rainbows that will shine through even the darkest of dark clouds and when you find them, you will know that hope is one of the greatest gifts we will ever find within ourselves.

There is always something to live for...be thankful you have life..

...to keep the "terrorists" from winning?
-
You live for the fact that you CAN have something to live for in the future. Maybe it sucks to be you now, maybe it's always been that way <--the case for a whole lotta people. I cut ties to a lot of the BS I've dealt with (so called "friends", family that acts like anything but, sucky jobs with a sorry azz boss) - all of it is gone. Changing yourself to what you want to be is the easiest way to find yourself with a life worth living. Good luck.
-
There is only one thing I live for. And that is the one thought that stays in my head all day every day. The thought that I can love something that it's impossible for it to love me back. I live to show people what I care about, and to continue loving that one special thing. We all feel as though we have nothing left, but most people just aren't looking hard enough.

The precious present. -------------------- Your question reminds me of a story I heard about a king who asked for a present that reminds him of sadness when he's happy AND reminds him of happiness when he's sad. He received a coin with the inscription: "This, TOO, shall pass." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_too_shall_pass
