Well if it were ethnic (which would be great), being of Armenian heritage I'd probably do Shish-Kebab (lamb roasted on skewers)..that is our signature dish. But we also have Pilav (a rice dish), dolma (meat/or rice-filled grapeleaves), or Baclava ( a multi-layered, honey/walnut/pastry dessert)..oh what the heck! I'd bring all of 'em! :)

I would bring dessert. several different pies from marie calendar's bakery restaurant. rhubarb pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, mincemeat pie for the brave. and ice cream. it would be low fat and french vanilla, vanilla, and a big container of neopolitan. and a couple cans of hershey's choco syrup. i could zap the pies warm, and soften the icecream in the microwave as well. who needs to eat turkey???
