Guilty!
-
Nope never tried it, but i do cook it in the oven from time to time.
-
Yes I have. It worked, but I wasn't happy with the texture. it was kind of chewy rather than crispy. In all probability I'm doing it wrong. My favorite way to prepare bacon is to bake it.
-
yeah, that pre-cooked bacon that you just heat up in the microwave is really good.
-
No, but my wife and one of my daughters do. I prefer the traditional method, in a cast iron skillet.
-
Um... microwave, grill (broiler) oven, frying pan... even in a stew pot on rare occasions
-
no, it really only tastes good in the frypan !
-
No I think it is gross. But they do have the instant bacon that you can put in the microwave.
-
yes! i prefer it that way, keeps the greasy smoke out of the house. a plate of bacon slices cooks for 2 mins and viola!
-
Yes-I like the texture and all the grease is sopped up in the paper towels.
-
that is the only way I cook it. It keeps the house from being smoky, I don't burn it (though I love burnt bacon) and it's much quicker.
-
Yeah, if I'm just cooking it to go into something (salads, pastas etc.). I don't like it cooked that way if I am just eating the bacon. But I only eat turkey bacon so it might be different with regular bacon.
-
Yes but I like it better cooked in the pan.
-
Hell yeah!! And I cook some Bob Evan's Instant sausage links in there too;):) I love bacon and sausage links:):)
-
I have to try this now, so obviously I don't.
-
YES! Go to youtube and watch foodwishes the vid is called 3 minute bacon. I watched it before.
-
I did in the past when living at home with my parents but it's a horrible way to treat bacon. What an abomination! No one that truly loves bacon would do that to it:-(
-
I did when I first owned a microwave, I had a special bacon tray. I wouldn't do that now.
