I truly believe that children and animals are very sensitive to spirits, more so than adults. I dont know what it would be like for them, but they will usually let you know, by either wagging their tail while staring off in space, or perhaps growl, depending on how they felt about the person who passed, and yes some howl.
-
I think sometimes if I adjust my vision, I begin to see movement of things and I'm not sure what they are, so I think for animals maybe they always have that kind of vision to where they can see movements of other types of things; it probably wouldn't be scary for them though if they look like people or other animals since they are already used to us.

I have been having problems in my house for several years now and my dog always picks up on something at the same time as I do. She dosn,t seem particularly scared , more curious than anything, but she definately knows something is around. She sleeps downstairs at night and when I get up in the morning I swear sometimes she looks at me as if to say 'Am I glad to see you, what a bloody night I,ve had!'

It is my belief that animals sense more things than we as humans do. Take all of those stories you hear about animals sensing changes in weather and things like that. I think that animals know when things are around, better so than we do, because they have adapted themselves to be hunters. (Does any of this make sense?) =)

theres an area in my backyard that my dog will dare not cross at night, several months later, we got a litter mate for her and he behaves the same way. we found out that the previous owners had buried their greyhound in that area. realizing that our small cairn terriers are deathly afraid of large animals. i guess animals can see all spirits.
-
I train Animals and know that they are aware of things that we are not, as do most Animal owners. As for Ghosts, I've never seen one, but I've been with Dogs who have alerted me of something that I can't see, so they probably can.In every circumstance the area has always felt spookie to me, I know that the Dog is not picking up on me feeling spookie, the Dog always picks it first and either baulks, or will go on in defence mode. So if Ghosts exist, Dogs can see them.
-
Ghosts are only visible to naive people.
-
Yes, i believe dogs can see things we cant. My dogs sometmes stare and bark at nothing. You can see their eyes are following something that isnt there. Spooky...
-
I'm inclined to say that... yes, they probably do... See, countless times I have seen my Labrador watching the nothingness of the hallway of our house. His ears are pricked up, his forehead furrowed, even the perpetual wagging of his tail absolutely stops. I usually call him by name to snap him back to reality. He only does this in the hallway and nowhere else in the house. Interestingly, our family members have had many ghostly experiences from that hallway. If he's seeing anything there, I don't want to think about it.

I absolutely think that animals can see ghosts. I also believe that younger children can see them as well. I think it has something to do with innocence but I am not sure what it would be like for them. I also believe that children can see angels. I totally believe that there is a complete spiritual world all around us that we have no idea about.

yeah i think my dog can see ghost, because every few days he gets real fidgety, he stares up at the corners of the roof as if somethings there and he wont enter a few rooms. when it happens i wonder just what he see's. there was this incident about 6 years ago when i was 10, me and my mum would go over to a friends place for mabye three qurters of an hour. And when we return our dog would be shut inside her room and everything in there would be trashed. but it was way to trashed for the dog to have done it (things had been flung across to the other side of the room, stuff like that). when the dog entered the room at night he would tremeble uncontrolably and back up into a corner. and this continued for maybe a month until suddenly it stop, the dog returned to normal and the room stopped getting trashed. the thing is that just before this happened my great aunt passed away, so i dont know if it was her or not. about 4 years ago i moved into the house i live in now, it belonged to my grandmother and grandfarther who passed away about 4 or 5 years ago. just today my dog did all those freaky things again (minus the trashed room of course),the bugger woke me up this mourning too, i wasnt impressed >:(

well, cats only see in black and white, no colour,so I suppose a ghost would look exactly the same as everything else. Monochrome.

I believe that dogs can see or feel ghosts.I don't know how but i believe that dogs having an extra sense that we don't.Sometimes we see dogs barking or bahaving strange without a reason and it seems strange to us because we don't understand why they are behaving like that.
-
No, because ghosts does not exist.
-
Yes animals can see ghosts better then we cant even see them but they can. there heads more really fast when they see a angel or a ghost. vist us at www.angelsghosts.com

They sure do, I've had different dogs in different houses and they all have had problems with ghosts. I'm sure they can see them because I can too, believe me, they get scared to death when it comes to ghosts, its kind of freaky to see how they just refuse to get near the places where ghosts have been. I can see ghosts for 10 secs or less, but I wonder if they are there all the time, since my dogs react the same way 24/7. However, I recently moved to my fourth house, and I haven't seen anything, and my dogs look happy too.

animals can definetely see ghosts, especially Dogs. There have been numerous of occassions when my dog kept of barking towards this park area in front of my previous house, and I always knew that area feels very spooky..u know that feeling as though as you're being watched and I have seen one myself..and it wasn't a pretty image. Bottom line, when your dogs bark at something continuously or kids say that they have imaginary friends most definetely they have seen ghosts. Some people that I know, including myself are able to see and hear ghosts. For some reasons not everyone can see ghosts and the ones that do. Do not wish to see them Usually when you smell something, things like perfume, cigar or even rotten garbage in a room and you can't find the source. Most definetely there are some ghosts around you. Sometimes, I saw them daylight or more frequently at night. They just appeared, and looked like a normal human beings...and they dissapeared in front of me. It has been quite an experience, and when that happened...I always wondered were they showing themselves because they want to send a message through me to their loved ones..or just showing themselves because they felt like it?? I just hope that none of you do not wish to see ghost, because when you do someday, you'll regret it

Yes, my cats freak at the same time that we feel new entities here, I know my kids can see some
-
sure can - my dogs stare off into space sometimes, and will bark and react to (seemingly) nothing. My belgian shepard used to do it, and my new lab puppy (7 months) does to. my 8 yo lab does too, but very rarely. we figure he's just grown used to the entities, so doesn't bother anymore. just to back my point up, i was messing about with a recorder, my dogs ears went up, i pressed record to see if i could hear what he was hearing, and caught a voice faintly saying "hello"... and, yes... you've guessed it, there was only me in the house :-)

Animals see ghosts. Babies do too. My dogs go crazy every Thanksgiving and bark at corners or at the middle of the room where there is seemingly nothing. I am going to start videotaping it one of these years. Every single Thanksgiving, without fail, all day long they run and jump and bark and act all insane. I wonder why just Thanksgiving.....??

I have had a paranormal team investigate my house numerous times over the summer. It was determined that we have a male spirit and the spirit of a little girl. We have EVP's of them talking. The girl has asked for us to help...her exact words were, "take us home." I have a bichon frise dog that will just stare above my head and bark like there is no tomorrow. I bought a digital voice recorder to see if I could get my own EVP's to make sure it wasn't just my dog acting up. I have the male voice laughing while she is barking (there is no male in this house and the tv was off.) I am 100% convinced that she can see these spirits. The paranormal team said she is barking to try to protect me. I really wish I could afford to move, but can't at this time.
-
No, for though spirits exist, no one can see them. If someone thinks or even "knows" they experienced a ghost, apparition, especially via sight, it is but a mind trick. The eyes can be deceived by the imbedded belief in superstitious paranormal activity. People deceive themselves via logic and, in my opinion, animals have but instincts, and merely adapt to living conditions, such as domestic luxury.
-
I don't know if they can -see- them, but I believe they have a heightened awareness of their presence.
-
my cats see ghosts, or something that i can't see. they run around the house chasing all of these invisible beings, generally causing trouble for everybody... damn cats.
-
no they can't. Ghosts do not exist. Anyone with irrefutable scientific proof, feel free to comment.
-
Oh, yes! They definitely DO see ghosts/spirits!! My cat, and previous other pets have spooked me on numerous occasions when they see things that I cannot! My cat will get all spastic, staring at the ceiling, then the corners of the room, and sometimes she chases these invisible things, and I kid you not, THERE IS NOTHING THERE!!! Well, I can't see what she does, and quite frankly I would love to! But then again, maybe not ... I do have to live/sleep here, so perhaps I'll just leave it to my imagination! The only time this bothers me is when I notice my cats "ghost watching", and her eyes are darting all over the place, then out of nowhere, she has then glued on me - I FREAK OUT!!!! Her pupils dialate and she looks sooo spooked! I'm thinking to myself, "Please ghost, don't harm me!" because apparently it's near me! I have to say her name so then she'll snap out of the bizarre gaze/behavior! So yeah, if you ask me, I highly agree that animals are sensitive to the paranormal world :P

it has just been proven that dogs can actually smell cancer, they are now trialling dogs to see if they can be used for testing purposes for humans, to pick up early cancer issues, as well, look at all the scents and noises they hear that we are aware of, its immense, so yes, most likely they can sense spirits. there is alot more to our world than any of us realise, I suspect most animals are able to sense such energies.:)
-
I am positive that they can see apparitions. We have a dog named buster who will just stare at the back door that leads to the garage. He will only do that when it it dark out there. He will just sit there ears up, alert, and perfectly still. I know that there is something out there at night. I will have my moments where I just stare at the back door too. My heart will beat faster and I will feel nervous and unsafe. I will look in a dark corner in someones house and feel unsafe and see a shadowy figure standing there. I guarentee that they can see them. And that we can too.
-
i'm sure they can. but they doesn't seem to frighten them as much as us.
-
Probably, I'm sure the ghost don't like it, seeing how the animals blow their cover and all.
-
I think dogs can see ghosts. I recently moved into a new home and my dog stares into space, wont enter rooms unless is picked up, and will move her eyes like following something that is not there and i have seen things staring at me like a incomplete face that was black.
-
I think my pets see ghost. One day i was sitting on a couch in a hotel. I was home alone with my 2 cats my dog and my parakeet. Then all of a sudden my bird flew out of his cage landed on head my started screeching (it was weird cuz he never screechs) then my cats started hissing and my dog started barking at the room next to me.I was 12 at the time and i thounght i wasnt afraid of anything. So i slowly got up (while my bird was still on my head) and slowly opened the door. When i opened it i saw a black figure and freaked out. i grabbed my dog and ran down stairs to get the manager. He went to my room looked in the room where i had seen the figure. He frowned and called my parents. When they got home i told them and the manager what i'd seen. Then the manager told us that a young girl(my age) was home alone (like me but she didnt have any pets.) and there was a man in all black that had hid in the closet while the girl was in the bathroom. WHen she came out the man snuck up behind her and killed her right when he killed her her parents walked in. The man killed her mother and father. Then killed himself because he didnt want to get arrested. So now all four haunt the hotel room. The minute we heard that story we left the hotel and we never went back.

A friend of mine insisted that her dog would watch "nothing" and growl.Later she moved out of there because of unexplainable things that would happen.
-
Very good question, now if animals could talk we would find out what they can see, but unfortunately they are not able to speak, in a way that we can understand. But they can warn us of strange things that we don't see, they just react to things in a way we Don't understand.
-
Heck no, because there's none to be seen by any animals.
-
probably, dont know what it would be like for thenn since they cant talk
-
You might want to ask Scooby-Doo.
-
What would be the purpose of demons misleading animals? Revelation 12:12 teaches us that the Devil has very little time left to mislead humans and distract them from worshipping the true God.
-
have no idea and we cant ask thenn
-
Ghosts do not exist, so they cannot actually be seen by any sane being.
