I donate them to Goodwill or give my mom T-shirts that she can fit in.

My mother tries to give away the good clothes that we don't wear anymore away if possible to our relatives. We don't drop off the clothes to charities or anything - if my mother can find relatives that want them then great; otherwise, they get trashed.

Yes, I sure do. My daughter works at an adult care facility, where people can take care of themselves, but everything is furnished for them. There is a big dining hall where meals are provided, snacks etc. There are about 80 residents there, male and female, and it really is a nice place for people to live when you are not sick enough to be in a nursing home. I just went through my clothes last week and gave her about 35 shirts (many new) that I knew I would never wear again, 10 pairs of pants (no underwear) three winter coats, one very heavy winter coat (almost new) 25 to 30 baseball caps (I collect them) four new packages of socks (never opened from last Christmas) four pairs of slippers, about ten polo shirts, three pairs of dress shoes, four pairs of sneakers (not the smelly ones lol) and a few odds and ends I knew I did not need anymore. I am retired now, and have a rare nerve disease (CIDP) which is very painful, and don't go out very much anymore, but we like to take rides in the Catskill Mts. and look at the beautiful scenery. I spend many hours on my computers, which helps me keep my mind off of myself and problems. It really does help me a great deal when I try and keep busy answering tough questions like this one. :) Sorry for such a long answer, but it did help me feel much better. Have a Great Weekend!!
