Didn't check today yet. Yesterday it was $3.14 at our local Dairy Queen (yep..they sell gas too)! Now, California has the highest rates in the nation generally due to EPA rules for emissions that other states don't have. A few months ago we paid $4.69/gallon. So, gas does down, why aren't food prices going down commensurately? I'll tell you why..this just gives the big boys more profit, that's why! The bums! :( :)

Most places are $3.19 or $3.29. But I saw one gas station yesterday where it was going for $2.99/gal if you paid cash. Southern California.

Southern CA, here. Long Beach is around $3.179. It's been dropping a lot. I remember last May it was over $4 a gallon.
