    There are many internet fabric sources also, if you're an online shopper. Also, I got a nice length of denim from ebay once, although the shipping was a little high because of its weight.

    If you plan to make denim jeans comprable to store-bought you're going to need a machine and needle that can handle 12 layers of denim thickness through the crotch. That will break most normal sewing machine needles
