Trouble starting '84 Corvette (5.7 liter). Cold starts are no problem, but if driving some where and engine is turned off, it won't start when coming back to the car. Any idea what the problem is and is this common? Thanks!

I am in the process of purchasing my 1st Corvette. I am looking at 2 certified cars. The first one is a '07 6.0 Ltr coup Z51 performance package, LT3 w/Nav. 8,642 miles Vs. an '08 6.2 Ltr, LT3 w/Nav 4220 miles no Z51. Pricing similar. Which would you buy?

I have a 1978 Corvette 350 engine. When it sits for 2 to 3 days I have to pump the gas pedal about 20 times. After 3 days I have to prime the carb. I have a new fuel pump,a new rebuilt quadrajet carb & a check valve in the line to hold the gas in. Thanks!
