Well, if you want standard punk sounds, but not with the same all-politics agenda, then Billy Talent. For just straight up punk basically, Anti-Flag. Punk with that celtic twist, Dropkick Murphys. and then Rage Against The Machine for...well. just being awesome.

Well my favorites are screeching weasel, the vindictives, gore gore girls, the ramones, the methadones, Teenage Bottlerocket, even though they are more glam rock the new york dolls, Teenage Bottlerocket, black flag, the slits, bad brains, . I would have to say that screeching weasel is my favorite.

Tough call...I really liked Tsunami Bomb but they split up. Rise against and Strung Out have their moments...as do lots of others. Too many to call out a favorite. Thanks for the question...pisses me off that the only punk channel on XM radio died due to lack of support. RIP Fungus.

WEll, I'm not sure where they sit in the Punk scale but I love Crass, The Angelic Upstarts (more of an Oi band), GBH (though a little mainstream), and old defunct NY band called The Radicts, The Damned, The Buzzcocks, The Dickies, The Lunachicks, Suicidal Tendencies to name a few. OH does anyone remember a band called Ludichrist????? Oh, and Black Market Babies and The Nihilistics.

Mine are No cash which are a riot ska , hardcore punk band, much like leftover crack. A global threat which are a fast hardcore street punk band from maine. Killing the dream one of the greatest hardcore punk bands. Descendents, who are one of the first pop punk bands from the 80s. And alkaline trio who sing about heartbreak and have fast and slow melodic riffs.
