We have a built in electric dishwasher, and I have two back up manual dishwashers, Hubby and my oldest Grandson.

Yeah, we have a dishwasher: me. It is equipped with two dishpans, a drainer, a dishrag and a towel :)

...in my entire life...it has only been my hands that has washed dishes...and to be honest...I don't even know how to use a dishwasher (and I ain't no spring chicken either)

electric! my husband does them manually some times, but he does not do a good job so I discourage it.

We made sure we had room for a dishwasher when we built this house. My husband had planned on being our only dishwasher but I wanted the real kind that runs with electricity.

We switched from a manuel one to an automatic electric one when we ran out of kids at home to wash them.

My parents didn't and still don't have a dishwasher, so being the only girl, that chore always fell on me. When I first moved out you can bet that I had an automatic dishwasher and have ever since. Good thing to, with 3 boys and we rarely eat out, that thing gets used ALOT!
